Arianna Pondexter, graduated from Southaven High school in May of 2024, receiving honors for her participation in Art, Career Tech, and the National Technical Honor Society. After receiving the Anthony L. Byrd Scholarship in August of 2024, she went on to attend Northwest Community College, Senatobia Campus, to pursue a degree in Art. Arianna has truly excelled while at Northwest being a President’s List student and a recent inductee into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. As a student, she has had the opportunity to showcase and sell her works of Art at community art shows. She will be graduating from Northwest in May of 2026 and plans to take the scholarship that she received from Phi Theta Kappa and attend Mississippi State University in Starksville, MS in the fall of 2026. As a transfer student, she will be working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a concentration in graphic design. When not attending school Arianna enjoys painting, playing video games, and spending time with her family.
