Ariel Pondexter, a Graduate of Distinction from Southaven High school graduated number 48 in her class in May of 2024. After receiving the Anthony L. Byrd Scholarship in August of 2024, she went on to attend Northwest Community College, Senatobia Campus, to study cosmetology. Just one year after graduating from high school, Ariel completed her studies at Northwest and graduated with a Career Certificate in Cosmetology. She is currently employed as a stylist at Palace Executive Suites in Olive Branch, MS where she specializes in natural hair. When not working, Ariel enjoys cooking her own meals, working out at the gym, going to church and is also an up-and-coming model.
