Throughout high school, Denton demonstrated academic growth and perseverance while completing a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that included Advanced Placement coursework in Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science.

I decided to major in Biochemistry because I love biology, chemistry, and desire to conduct research to help others. Biochemistry has several career routes and currently I am interested in researching and improving medications through hospital research. I am accepted into the University of Memphis Honors College with a major in Biochemistry. I am very excited about this upcoming college experience and plan to study hard so that I can take care of myself and my future family.
